Everything old is new again, and wallpaper is back in a big way. And we do mean BIG. Today’s trendiest wallpapers feature bold, outsized designs, many with botanical, geometric, or architectural themes. Don’t think big means busy.
In this visual age, people take lots of pictures, but if you want a family portrait that will be a keepsake for generations to come, you can’t do better than commission Thomas Balsamo, a portrait artist from Barrington, Illinois. Balsamo’s black-and-white portraits are truly breathtaking and will enhance any home interior. In his own words, Portraits by Thomas strives “to create portraiture that speaks volumes about the subjects we capture. We want to thrill, captivate, and compel you … to linger on our work … The final result will be ...

What child doesn’t grow giddy with excitement at the sight of a carousel? Now you can delight your child – and add a real showpiece to the child’s room – with his or her very own hand-painted carousel horse. We’ve found a wonderful source with options to fit almost any budget. All the horses boast intricately painted designs, just like the ones found on a real old-fashioned carousel. Prices start at $395 for a horse that’s 23” long x 23” high mounted on a 48” brass pole, but there are ...

Spring is here. When Mother Nature starts rolling out her lush green carpet, it’s a great time to do some indoor buffing up too. Refreshing your décor will give your spirits a lift, and if you follow the hottest trend – “green” – you’ll also be doing the planet a favor.
Green design is definitely in, and there are myriads of earth-friendly (and gorgeous) products out there. Eco-friendly linoleum is making a comeback.
